Faithful Workers
The Faithful Workers Sunday School class is a group of senior adult ladies. They are a small group that meet each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. to discuss the scripture using printed materials from Explore the Bible as a guide.
Woman’s Missionary Union
The Woman’s Missionary Union, WMU, is a missions group that is open to women of all ages. We meet the 1st Wednesday night of each month at 7:00 p.m. Our programs cover the lives of missionaries and their work on the mission field. Our purpose is to make the church aware of items needed for local ministries throughout the year. We also promote special offerings for Tennessee, North American Missions, and International Missions.
Our mottos is “Pray. Give. Go.”
College and Career Ministry
The College and Career Ministry meets each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for Bible Study. Mid-week meetings and small group gatherings are offered on Wednesdays for fellowship and Bible studies. We know this season of life is full of changes. Our goal is to lead college students and young professionals to a real growing relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s our hope that these young adults will be able to grow in their faith through discipleship and fellowship, and then use their personal relationship with Jesus to share the gospel with others.
Outreach Ministry
Parkburg Baptist Church’s Outreach Ministry is dedicated to reach to the lost and unchurched people of our community. Serving others and showing them the love of Jesus Christ through our acts of service is important. We believe our mission comes from the words of Jesus, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15.
Men’s Ministry
The Men’s Ministry of Parkburg Baptist Church was formerly known as The Brotherhood. With renewed spirit and fresh young members, this group gathers the 1st Monday of each Month to discuss and plan ways to serve others in our church and community. Their mission is to meet physical and spiritual needs by being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to those living in our local community and within our church.
They have planned upcoming event days for Outreach in the community through Roadside Cleanup, Yard Cleanup, cookouts.
Women’s Ministry
Women ministering to women by inspiring and equipping one another to meet the challenges of today’s world. We do this through discipleship, growth, fellowship and outreach. Understanding that our primary purpose is to glorify God and be in fellowship with Him.
As part of women’s ministry the Sisterhood is a quarterly gathering for women to fellowship, worship and pray with one another through music and inspiring guest speakers and testimonies.
We offer women’s Bible Studies and other planned activities throughout the year.

Do not let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, conduct, in faith and in purity. Our goal is to help the next generation discover who they are in Christ and determine what Christ wants to do through them by building a strong, personal, Jesus centered relationship!
With 2 Bible Study Classes on Sundays, we strive to help build Biblical understandings and principles. Our Junior Youth, grades 7-9, and Senior Youth, grades 10-12, meet each Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday night meetings are a mix of food, fun, fellowship, worship and learning. We never know what’s next, but we know it will be Christ led and Christ centered. We strive to explore God’s Word and how it applies to our daily lives.
Childrens ministry
Our Childrens department serves kids 3 years old through 6th grade. Bible study Sunday mornings at 10am. Team Kid meets on Wednesday at 6pm following the school calendar.
BreakAway
Middle School is a stressful time in a young persons life, and we recognize that. The period of not quite being a kid, and not quite being a “youth” can be difficult to navigate. Our prayer is that BreakAway can help make them feel like they have a place to belong. We provide a fun and exciting worship experience just for middle schoolers. We meet once a month for 3 hours to have open worship, share devotions and host activities designed with middle schoolers and Jesus in mind. We hope to see your 5th through 8th grader at our next event.
Music Ministry
Our Music Ministry is devoted to praise and worship. You will find the 8:30 a.m. service more contemporary in style with no piano or organ, music ranges from the most recent praise and worship songs, to old familiar songs with instrumental background.
In our 11:00 a.m. worship you will find the music more traditional with a Choir, Piano and Organ playing from the Baptist Hymnal, but there are often contemporary styles blended as well. Whatever songs we sing, we want it to bring all the glory to God.
